Repeating sounds to your baby will help them to repeat words
Here are some 5 tips to encourage language development in your little one
- Repeat sounds that baby makes. For example, “ma-ma.”
2. Give baby time to repeat. If needed repeat the sound again.
3. Sing the sound or change the pitch of your voice, this way baby will stay interested longer.
4. Focus on one sound at a time. As baby continues to make other sounds, sing and play using the new sounds your baby makes.
5. Lastly, and this may be an obvious one, be sure to encourage your baby to talk. If your little bundle of joy makes sounds, tell him to “talk more.”
